Independent Life of Disabled Persons Support Programme

The Foundation provides funding which enables disabled persons to stay living in their own homes and not at an institution. These include personal assistance, out-patient hospice care, emergency assistance, wheelchair-accessible transportation and contributions to caregivers towards respite care, therapy etc.

I’ve been struggling with mental issues,  and I have a Disability certificate of the  2nd type. Now, since my own life has  become reasonably organised, I found out  that I could work as a peer consultant,  helping people with similar problems.  I needed a training course, the cost  of which I wasn’t able to pay. Thanks  to the Social Foundation help I could  complete the training, do meaningful  work and gain a little income.
