Funding is provided to non-profit social work organisations and social workers in individual Prague districts. Thanks to contributions towards flexible budgets social workers can cover necessary costs leading to an improved situation for their clients.

My housing situation is unstable and I have been looking for a job for several months now. Recently I got a position promised but I needed a medical report for my new employer. I was not able to pay for the report and in the meantime my position was given to someone else. Now I am frustrated and I lost my motivation to keep trying. With the flexible budget provided by the Social Foundation I would be able to cover the cost of the medical report and finally start working.
